COVID & Paused experiences

Hey everyone, hope you and your tribes are all well 🙂

 

Quick question regarding experience hosting. I run a paddleboarding experience on a UK river. Our offering is well within current govt guidelines as well as being British Canoeing COVID risk assessed and ASI (academy of surfing instructors) COVID secure. We were initially paused until 28th May, now until 14th June. Are we beholden to a general one size fits all pausing policy or can we appeal? I'd be interested to hear anybody's experience or advice on this.

Sadly, I think your phrase "beholden to a one-size-fits-all pausing policy" hits the nail on the head! - It's a phrase I've used here, lamenting the fact that our calendars are not open to host key workers, social distance fashion!

 

We in the CC are not Airbnb policy makers, nor staff, rather we are service users, mainly hosts, who gather to support one another, moan, or have a laugh....
