Cancellation policy

Hi There,

I'm hoping for some help. I booked an air bnb for a wedding in May which can no longer go ahead due to C19. My host has a 50% cancellation fee but has kindly offered me a full refund.

When I go to cancel the booking I am told I will get a 50% refund, what do my host or I need to do so that I can get the full refund please?

Thank you,

Sandy

@Sandy636 when your cancellation has gone through, the host will get a promt through airbnb to issue a full refund. Note that airbnb fees will not be refunded.

Fingers crossed the host will honour the promise of a full refund.

Contact Airbnb directly and explain situation. They are very good about covid situations.

@Sandy636  If you happened to only pay for half the reservation up front, and you are seeing that you'll receive back an amount that is 50% of the total reservation cost, that would be correct, as a "full refund" would be getting back the amount you have paid. And you won't get your Airbnb fees back- that has nothing to do with the host.
