I have had cancellations from Air bnb with full refunds quoting coronavirus but we are not yet in lock down as yet and still have guests staying. We are in a remote area, ideal for social distancing. Guests can still enjoy hiking and the countryside which is what they come for in the first place. This guest should claim on her insurance as it is her choice not to come. Any help please?
Same here, @Sarah3327 . Many guests cancelled, but many still coming. Direct her to submit a claim on her travel insurance (unlikely she will be successful just now), but know that if she can get through to Airbnb, she has a good chance of being fully refunded. I'd let it go.
It doesn't matter whether or not you are in lockdown @Sarah3327 it's about whether the guests are eligible to cancel under Airbnb's EC policy for the Corona virus.
