Code red

In my country there is "code red" announced for the weather in upcoming days. It seems some snow is expected (up to 20 cm !) and some freezing (up to minus -8 Celsius !) and some cold wind. But before you start laughing, even more rules are announced from the governement like:

. You are only allowed to throw snowballs with your own household.

- You can go iceskating with your own household or with max. 1 adult from outside the household.

BTW Who is going to throw snowballs anyway within 1,5 mtr distance ?

You see, the Dutch are taking things very serious !

In some jurisdictions in the US, you must put your mask on *in between bites* of food when eating at a restaurant. I have not seen anyone actually comply with this, though.🙄

Yesterday the city announced it would start enforcing mask wearing while outside. 

"Riccio says his officers’ primary function will be to patrol the sidewalks and streets to make sure masks are being worn."

Mask aren't required inside bars. The only state mandated covid restriction is bars closing at 11pm.  Just another day. Could be worse. At least its not snowing.

@Emiel1 My city says we can skate on the outdoor skating rinks but can’t play hockey....IDK we are the center of the world for playing hockey, everyone plays hockey here. It’s ridiculous, they removed all the hockey nets on the skating rinks.

Bars may stay open, but they are not allowed to sell alcohol🤣🤣

@Marit-Anne0 Where I live, bars can stay open only if they sell food. But you are not required to buy it. Needless to say, I still find myself eating a ton of nachos with my beer.
