I am angry whyAirbnb does not have the guts to stand up for the hosts and keep 25% from guests cancellation, when the cancalleation policy is set to strict.
Your announcement about June is a complete joke. You should have done this from day one an make all parties suffer in the pain. For Guests all paid charges are all variable expenses, they simply lost holiday money, whereas the hosts all have all fixed costs, that in many cases were completely relying on Airbnb income, now falling to 0.
We are in this together and it should be everybody's loss and not just the host's loss. Your May 250m fund was a nice gesture and good marketing effort but now what you are doing to hosts for the future in comparison to guests is a sham.
