Covid Lockdown - Customer wants to Change Dates!

Due to a Covid Lockdown, our customer wants to transfer their stay to a later date - how is this done?

We are happy to do this, but I want to change the dates ASAP as we might be able to get an Essential Worker stay with us this weekend rather than have the unit empty.  I unfortunately can't email Airbnb as they don't want emails.

Can anyone help?

You do not need Airbnb CS for this.

You (or the guest) can use the "change" option on the reservation to request a change of dates. After it is accepted by the other party, the "old" dates are available again for new bookings.

But be careful because the change of reservation is a practice that some guests use to escape your cancellation policy.

 

If your cancellation policy is strict and the change is more than 14 days, the refund may only be 50% and not 100%.
