I have not had a single inquiry or reservation since the May 11 update. I have professional photos, updated my descriptions and still no activity. Prior to the update, I would get around 3 new reservations per week. My Fort Lauderdale listing disappears when I click on any of the categories and I have an AWESOME pool on my cover photo. Help!!!!
Your listing is in the search system. but has no categories assigned (yet).
But i can be found when people use a "normal" search.

@Emiel1 how do you know if a property has categories assigned? I would be interested if ours do/do not!
Go to your personal URL to the search system:
https://www.airbnb.com/s/homes?host_id=149937183&map_toggle=true
Click "add guests" , set it to "1 guest"
Click "Search"
Categories show up, by default 'design" is selected
If no "results", you are not in that category.
Walk to all categories to see if one or more listings show up.
I did it already, It seems no categories have been assigned (yet)
Please note: search by default is set to "flexible", "any week".
If you do not offer stays of 1 week or more, change more parameters.

Check your listing settings. There is a check box for categories. I found it the other day when no one at the CC could explain why my cottage changed to a cabin with the update.
I seems that I had set up cabin rather than cottage.
I flipped the settings back and forth a couple of times to double check. Each time, the change worked perfectly.
So it is my assumption that Airbnb hasn't communicated effectively, and that Hosts are still in charge of their listing category and that the AI is a farce.
@M199 Where exactly in listing settings ? I don't see anything. NVM. I don't think that is the category.
You aren’t alone! Time will tell how many of us have lost business this month. Discussions about bookings halting after the rollout are also under the ‘updates’ category.
