Hello everyone 👋
As the year comes to an end, many of us reflect on how the last 12 months have gone. Whether it was full of ups, some downs, surprises or interesting meets, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had yet another big year. ✨
With that in mind, I’d like to invite you to look back on 2024 together: can you think of one word that encapsulates the past year for you?
Looking forward to reading all your words of choice! 😃
Wishing you all the best,
Rebecca
Hi @Andrea6232 ! 😄
I really like the word you used to describe your year. I'm sure that you learnt a lot! 🧠
What are the situations you learnt the most from throughout this year?
Regards,
Alex
Learning curve! I just became a host in Nov 2024 so still very new but I have a good circle of friends that have done it for a while so get plenty of advice.
@Alex I'm in a hot area (Daytona Beach, FL) and I've been very aggressive about getting as many bookings as possible to get going. This has posed 2 problems:
#1 - I've been taking reservation requests from guest with zero reviews and 1 month on Airbnb. I've been lucky so far, but that's bound to bite me at some point.
#2 - I've been DIY'ing the housekeeping/cleanup between guests and it has become a major hassle. I need to outsource it!
Tumultuous
Heartwarming
Hi @Shep34 😄
Fulfilling.
Hello @Linda4800 😄
It's been a great year as an Airbnb host. If I had to choose one word to describe my experience, it would be "growth."
Hi @Farid217,
A year of growth is a year well spent! In which aspect of hosting would you say you've grown the most in 2024? 🌟
Thanks,
Emilie
