Escalate to an executive?

Hi Friends,
Does anyone here work for Airbnb? Long story short, they are refusing to refund me service fees on a booking that the Innkeeper approved for me to change . I would love to find a person I can work with to understand my unique challenge (and very expensive booking that I DID complete) and work towards resolution. I've tried to escalate and getting auto responses / policy paralysis. I'm hopeful that someone here could direct me to the right person. It's quite a bit of money!

@Jenna285 Sadly no one here works for Airbnb. Only thing you can get is advice....

My advice is call Airbnb on the phone number in a contact post at the top of the Help section of the CC. Alternatively approach them via Twitter.

It may be that you will not get the service fee back as Airbnb may argue they have provided their service to you by allowing you to book a place with them. Not knowing the details its hard to say.

@Jenna285  Could you explain what you mean by " a booking that the Innkeeper approved for me to change"?

Did you cancel a booking, or was it moved to other dates? If you cancelled, just because the host was okay with the cancellation, or offered to refund you doesn't mean you get the Airbnb service fees back. You have to read the terms of the cancellation policy.

Can you explain what actually happened so we can try and advise you @Jenna285 

If you simply changed the date of a booking (as you indicate) no fees should have been involved
