Does anyone have issues with someone renting and then you find out they have hosted an event in your facility without notifying you ?

@Beatrice-Rita-and-Roy0  this is a huge problem. Airbnb does not allow gatherings of more than 16 people. If you rented to a certain number and they had others over, that is a violation of the agreement and terms. These guests should be reported, an honest review given and "would not host again" pushed.

We used to (pre Covid) host small weddings at our cottage for 25 guests or less. We had an entire sheet of costs and packages for catering, flowers, cleaning, music, photos, officiants, etc. This was NEVER done through ABB as it is not the appropriate platform for such an occasion. Our packages ranged from $3000 to $5000 or so for the necessary pieces of the party plus a night for the new couple (only) to stay after the wedding. It is a LOT more than we ever charged on ABB and honestly it was such a pain to deal with we were relieved when Covid gave us an excuse to stop.  Events and ABB are two different animals. If I even get wind that a guest is thinking about doing something like this, I cancel the reservation.
