Extending a stay from 27 nights to 11 more nights. Where do I stand with tenancy rights in England and am I safe to extend the guest's stay

I have no knowledge about tenancy rights in UK, so maybe another (local) host can respond on that.

But.... when you use the "change" option to extend a "short term stay" into a "long term stay", be aware of glitches in the change form, especially regarding the calculated price.  Always also manually calculate the price and if neccessary amend the price in the pricefield. Most common issue is: the stay has a weekly discount (if set), but by extending it the monthly discount (if set) will apply, also retroactive.

maybe the safest would be to tell him to move out for one night in some other accommodation and then to book for another 10 nights. I would say it is for deep cleaning and sanitation purpose.... or that I have 1 night booking in between or something like that
