Extra charges for trailers
Hi everyone.
I have guests asking about if they can bring a trailer as well when they rent my cottage. An example is the cottage sleeps 7 so this person asked if she can bring her trailer to sleep 4 so there would be a total of 11 ppl. How can that work for charges if Airbnb only charges based on how many I can sleep?
Anyone else come across this?
In the summer I also have a little trailer that I'd like to use for extra bookings so not sure how to charge for that either.

@Mihaela65 Do you have an extra guest fee? If so, apply that fee to the guests in the trailer. If not, perhaps you could develop one. Since the trailer will be using utility resources, you should consider a flat trailer fee or RV fee that is comparable to local trailer parks.

I guess my first message didn't take on here lol.
Thank you for your input. I have a extra guest fee after 5 guests in place, so not sure how to charge above that without changing my capacity.
I like your flat rate trailer idea. I'd just have to figure out how to factor in septic fees.

You do not have to change your listing. Just use the request money option on the registration to add the cost of additional guests and a rate for the trailer parking. Hope this helps!
