I hosted successfully for a few years on AirBnb with few issues from AirBnb themselves. This year has really went downhill fast. The website started glitching on several of my listings, offering them for lower than the minimum pricing and booking dates that had been blocked! I also had a double booking happen. The customer service has shattered as I was left with no response.....for days on open issues. I called daily only to repeat myself, explain their glitching website, prove my prices with a screenshot (I SUGGEST SCREEN SHOT YOUR PRICES EVERY TIME) and being hung up on multiple times. Airbnb booked my listing below the minimum two times in the same day, to the same guest, then would not call me back to cancel.....they were completely unhelpful. The guest got involved and eventually AirBnb cancelled via admin however left that booking on my schedule not allowing me to accept another New Year's Eve booking. The icing on the cake was another New Year booking who checked in on Dec. 28th through Jan. 1st. The guests altered their reservation the day before check in to include two persons, which was no problem and NO PRICE change. Airbnb has still not paid me for that booking. I have called multiple times, have an open ticket and still have not been paid. I'm sorry, Airbnb, it's Over! I, too, am moving all my listings and referring all my friends/family/clients to another platform.
