Hello! I would like to know some good places to eat around LA! I've been wanting to try more places, but when I look on soci...
I am so elated to have earned superhost status after 9 months of hosting my tiny home. I love ensuring that my guests are comfortable and it is heartwarming to receive their positive responses.
Hello @Jo-Anne48 👋
Congratulations on your Superhost status and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us.
It sounds like you've got the passion for hospitality and great guest experiences! What has been your biggest learning in the past 9 months?
Dear @Rebecca:
I have learned that
1. guests don’t read guidebooks or messages. So I have to ready to respond, patient and have prepared quick replies to answer questions that were already anticipated and noted for them in the guide.
2. guests appreciate attention to detail. For example having a kit with items they may have forgotten.
The little travel kit is such a lovely idea @Jo-Anne48 - what does the kit contain and is it a new one for each stay?
It basically has things a traveller may forget: toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, Deodarant, wet wipes, feminine items, Qtips, lotion, makeup remover pads to name a few. I also include a sewing kit.
I replenish after each guest.
That's such a wonderful idea! I always forget something and it's usually something of mine, rather than my children's things.
Do you keep it in view, in a nice basket or similar?
I keep it in open view, in a case labeled “Forgot Something? Check Here.”
That's lovely! Definitely going above and beyond for your guests!
We were talking on another thread recently about Do you offer food and drink to your guests? This might be a fun topic for you to join in with!
