Great experience

We are so thankful we have a forum like Air BNB. Our positive experiences with guests is an estimated 95 percent.
We love Hosting and meeting so many great people.  They have been so friendly and positive.

Maybe this is the honeymoon stage?
What is the percentage of great guests vs questionable or “bad guests” you have experienced?

@Kevin2205 I hope it isn't the honeymoon stage.

99.8% great guests here and the 0.2% not terrible just a bit meh.

People are basically good. X

@Kevin2205  Personally, I have never had a bad guest. The majority have been stellar. Have hosted about 54 guests, since 2016. (I get guests who stay an average of a week-10 days, and only have a viable tourist season of about 5- 6 months, so I'll never be one of those hosts who get 100s of guests a year).

The bad guest scenario really varies depending on the location, the type of guests who are attracted to your place, your pricing, whether you host an enntire place or a home-share, whether you are an on-site host or try to manage remotely. And of course the law of averages is that the more guests you get, the more likelihood of eventually getting a bad one.

A big house in LA with a pool and a hot tub and off-site hosts is ripe for yahoos booking to throw parties and trashing the house. A cabin in the woods out in the boonies somewhere isn't.

Glad it's been a great experience for you so far. Has been for me, too.
