I completed and submitted a review for a recent guest that isn't showing up. Probably beneficial for other hosts to see the review as the guest left my house trashed and bug infested due to never taking out the trash and storing it in a closet. It's beyond 14 days and the guest left a review that is visible, but mine is not. Will Airbnb allowing me to submit another review?
The only thing I can think of is that the guest was able to get your review removed because it violated some Airbnb review or content policy. You might want to review these here to see if that might be it.
We recently left a review for a guest saying they had a full refund after they left and would be better suited to a hotel. At the time I thought that was pushing it a bit. The nicest thing we could think of was that they checked out on time.
They demanded the review be removed. We told them to take it up with Airbnb.
@Jeremy680 As Pat suggested, it could have been that you somehow violated the review policy with whatever you wrote. Do you remember what you wrote? With a review for a difficult guest, it’s best to be brief, leave emotion out of it, stick to the facts about the behavior you took issue with, and avoid making any disparaging remarks about the guest personally.
