Guest Review Query

Hi All,

We have had a request from a past guest to adjust his review. He wants to remove his then partners name as they have now parted ways and he wants to dissociate himself completely from her. Is this possible?

@Ann-and-Glenn0  No, a review cannot be altered once it is posted. But you can ask Airbnb to remove the review entirely- explain to them why. But you might want to ask the guest if they are okay with that, if it was a good review. He might not want to lose the entire review.

You can avoid this in the future by only mentioning the name of the booking guest in the review unless it's a married couple whose names appear jointly on their account, like yours does.

I've read of hosts being asked this before because they assumed that the couple were indeed a couple, when in fact they were having an affair and their actual partners were not along for the ride 🙂
