Our guests checked in today for 8 nights. After a couple of hours of their checkin I received a request that they want to cut their trip short by 5 nights and would only be staying for 3. I have a moderate cancellation policy. I called airbnb and they said that the nights guests are not staying for are not considered “canceled” so guests will simply get refunded for that amount. However on my side i am at a loss now since I won’t be able to rebook these dates at such a short notice.
I still have the ability to decline the request but wanted to get advice here on what next steps should be taken
