Guest wants to leave halfway and replace with another guest

Hello Community! I have a guest who booked a 1 week stay, arriving today, and now wants to leave halfway through his reservation and have a friend stay for the remainder.  How do I contact the other person? What do you do in this situation?

It is not possible to "change" a reservation to another booker.

Solution:

The current guest has to shorten the reservation, the new guest has to book for remaining nights

Please note:

The current guest could have  added the other guest (must have Airbnb account) to the reservation before check-in . If you and Airbnb agree (ask..) the current guest can leave halfway and the other guest can stay until the end. But it is too late now for this solution

Say no. The booking guest has to be among the guests who are staying. They can't just give their remaining days to someone else.
