So disturbed & outraged that Airbnb have excluded my dear friend @susan17 from this community!
Susan is a real. Susan was here from the beginning. She is a SuperHost with most amazing reviews. Reviews of the kind we only could dream of. Guests all rave about her hospitality. She will arrange a taxi to go buy ANY THING YOU WANT. Guests on a weekend away, want her kind of hosting.
Susan is my friend. When my apartment was trashed by a party crowd and they threatened to kill me. They caused £12,000 damage. Yes I involved the police. But Susan reached out EVERY DAY to ensure I was ok! She is most amazing asset to this community! She cares about people! She cares even more about hosts!
I am disgusted that Susan has been excluded. This CC is turning into a police state.
No! Hosts need an outlet to express their frustration. Who are you admins to state a post is ‘negative’!
How dare you exclude a host who supported so many of us!!! Outraged! Absolutely disgusting you could turn against one of the most supportive hosts out there ! Total disgust that you hung @Susan17 out to dry!!!
Hello everyone,
I wanted to come back to you on our decision to restrict Susan's access to the Community Centre.
As mentioned in several topics elsewhere, the decision was the result of repeated breaches of the Community and Content Guidelines over the last 12 months.
We have been working and talking with Susan for a long time now both publicly and privately to resolve this, however it could no longer continue. Being completely honest with you, this was a really hard decision to make, one we really hoped it wouldn't come to.
We have enjoyed many conversations with Susan over the past few years and she is a very knowledgeable host, but, the way we act here has to benefit the overall health of the community we are all part of and unfortunately her contributions were no longer constructive.
I'm pleased to say that it's a very rare thing to happen in the CC, and as you can imagine it's certainly not nice for us Community Managers either.
This is everything I have to say on this, so I do hope it is helpful. Please feel free to contact me via CC DM or any of the Community Managers here.

@ this is a sad day to learn Susan is been banned, she was the voice for many naive hosts. @Lizzie I hope the ban is limited in time, could u please let us know how long is banned from the forum?
Ridiculous. @Lizzie - A community manager needs to be respected by the community they manage. You should probably take some time to reflect on what's being said here.

I don't know why everybody is complaining about Airbnb there doing a fantastic job under these most difficult circumstances, I would really like to congratulate Brian Chesky and his management team on how there handling this most difficult of problem, Brian who has always been big on community and bringing his sheep along like the good Shepard he is, he reminds me of the chosen one, yes the president the commander in the chief Donald J Trump and how he can marshal the the feckless and unworthy to his cause or leave them by the way side.
To be honest I glad I'm out of this cult.

Theres been a few posts caught in that "Spam Quarantine" @Stephanie . It mustn't be working correctly. A few of mine have been caught like that after a day or two. 🙂
Posts get posted and passed by Quarantine, then Quarantine moderates them as unacceptable. And then they get accepted again and re-posted.
Do the same people design the scripts at Customer Services? 😂😂😂
@Ian-And-Anne-Marie0 - it's a treacherous beast, even OCM posts get caught by it. The Community Center is built by the company, Khoros, and is not involved with anything on the customer service platform.
Sometimes I think it's had a couple too many coffees and gets carried away. Glad we can go in and release content caught by accident. If you see it happen to your posts please drop me a message so I can dig it out.

Airbnb "no da un paso sin huarache" (does nothing without an motive) . What a coincidence! what a perfect timing was Susan's ban. Now all the newbies can't get infected by her negative /toxic/evil/low morale/conspiracy theories and so on. Now a new start. But with all your host expertise at hand. Free-Host advise 24/7 pouring from all over the globe.
To those who are getting into Susan's character: what we are discussing here is censorship of facts and not if you found Susan likable or not. Your personal opinion about her is irrelevant. The real issue here is that Airbnb CC Guideliness seem to be quite open to interpretation. And that single fact affects all of us, CC member's.
I have to say, I am simply gobsmacked. I once had a host here (possibly in some sort of drunken state) write a one-page rant after reading my profile whereby he compared me to his ex-wife (also a psychotherapist) and said all kinds of terrible things about me, defaming my character and professional reputation - this is a person I do not know and have never spoken to.
Not only was this person not banned; the post was featured for days as the CC's "most popular post." I had to write Lizzie directly to ask her to take it down. I was rather shocked that I had been put in this position.

I quit the Cc many months ago. Posted as a one off to register my disgust that @susan17 had been banned for speaking the truth.
I notice many have also quit. Not prepared to contribute to what has become an echo chamber of nonsense. Important threads regarding guests killed at a house party were closed. But ‘let’s bake a cake and be fuzzy, happy, clappy hosts,’ are becoming the norm.
Got no time for it. Airbnb has turned into a monster. susan17 was just pointing out the hard facts & truth that hosts are now seeing to be true. How many have lost their business over the C19 polices? No wonder they wanted her stopped!
