Help to cancel bookings

Hi.

I am contacting you concerning two recent bookings I just made through Airbnb. I am very new to this, and I did a mistake booking two places at the same time for dates I am not sure we will be there. Can you please help me? I cannot afford the cancellation fees, that will give me some trouble for the coming month. Are you able to help me with that, so that we can waive the cancellation fee?

You can normally cancel bookings penalty free  within 48 hours of booking, if they are made more than two weeks  before travel. I am not sure how you were able to make two bookings for the same dates. Very odd. Have you tried to cancel the booking you don't want?
