Home and experience hosts working together

Hey everyone 🙂

I've recently started hosting a local paddleboard (SUP) experience in the UK. During the cold UK winter months (October - March), I'd like to offer my experience in other, warmer parts of the world. I'm wondering if a facility exists to connect with home hosts in ideal locations for this to team up and offer a combined home/experience hosting package. Is that something that people do regularly? Would it even bookable via the standard Airbnb booking platform or is it outside of Airbnb's current scope?

Thanks in advance of any advice 🙂

J

I can see the attraction for you in escaping our horrible winters. But am not seeing the benefits for hosts of your concept @James2299

A host might promote an experience to guests as an add on, if approached by those running local experiences., but I can't see the benefit to the host in offering this as a package, as many of their guests wouldn't be interested.

No you can't combine.

If you are interested in working in warmer climates put together a shortlist of areas you are interested in working in and where you speak the language and then check visa requirements for you to work in them. Only then approach local host groups, but in most cases I would imagine they would prefer to work with a local offering the experience.

If you want to work somewhere warm in the winter why not approach tour operators who offer water sports in warmer climes.
