Home owner is listed as the Superhost, but does not run the Airbnb
It's been three years! The owner of the house here is listed as the Superhost, but is not the host. He owns the property, but does not run the Airbnb. Is there some way I can get the badge!? (Meaning - is there some way I can get the recognition for three years of getting and maintaining this place at Superhost status? Anyone know?
If all you are doing is hosting on someone else's property, then you should be listed as the host. He should not be listed. The "split" would be a contractual issue between you and the owner. Who set up the account in the first place?
Originally we had to choose one or the other account. We chose his. I recall that I have received a pop-up from Airbnb about setting up the account as a business partnership. It requires a government registration number. This might be the workaround.
Superhost status and reviews "belong" to the listing owner-- usually the person who set up the listing. Either the listing owner or the co-host can be the primary host, but the listing owner cannot change.
