Hosts not leaving feedback

Recently returned from a trip and neither of the two hosts I stayed with left feedback.  I always try to participate fully. I did send a private message to both regarding some improvements they might consider, but not written condescendingly. But of course, they've got my positive feedback now without leaving any for me. I really think AirB&B should consider a rating for everyone regarding who (does or doesn't) leave feedback. It's the only thing that keeps everyone honest.

I read your profile and could relate to the part about the two lane roads. I once drove from Ottawa to Austin, drew a straight line on the map between them, and took whichever roads were closest to that line. Ended up on the interstates sometimes, but otherwise it was an interesting trip, driving through little towns I'd never otherwise have any reason to see.

@Michael5794I cant respond to your messages without appearing to be argumentative, which was not my intention.  I am glad that you found somewhere comfortable to stay regardless and realise the importance of reading both past guest  reviews and listing profiles before making bookings going forward. 🙂

If I find myself in a listing (it's happened a handful of times) where the host turned out to be a serial non-reviewer, I've marked them down on communication and mentioned it in my review.

I'm not really into the whole game of waiting for a guest to review me before I leave one for them. 

You'll also read many threads on here, @Michael5794, in which hosts are reticent to take zero-review guests, but you can't have it both ways.
