Ideas for guests how to scam hosts

It is garbage like this that gives our guests ideas how to scam us. I am sure there are Airbnb specific posts out there as well. I was particularly shocked by the one where he recommended to ask for non smoking room, empty mini bar, smoke and then ask to be moved.

@Inna22  There is no mystery as to why hosts are getting scammed right and left by guests making stuff up to get refunds, booking for a period of time that would entitle them to a weekly discount, then cancelling after 2 days, calling Airbnb to report they felt "unsafe" or there were bedbugs, ad nauseum. 

This s**t is all over online andd people have had nothing to do during Covid but sit at home and read this and think it's cute and clever.

If you told these people they were nothing but common thieves, I'm sure they'd protest.
