Dear Elisa,

My experience has been quite good actually. I managed to get 4 families booked so far, however, I would like to increase my conversion ratio of views to booking further.

I believe that 'Presentation' plays (site pictures, description of the amenities and its proximity to nearby areas of interest) an important role in converting customers, along-with providing unique add on. In my case I have paired a session of astronomy, where I get to observe  a few celestial objects such as Jupiter with its 4 moons, Saturn with its rings & the Moon's impact craters through my in-house telescope. This definitely gives them a memory to cherish and remember, as also helps in targeting families having kids, who might be more into this stuff. Also having my listing competitively priced (using dynamic pricing, still fiddling around with it) definitely helps.

Dear Elisa,

The seed of the idea was planted in my mind a few years back, when I had volunteered in a Youth association as a Trek leader. Our group of 10-12 people has journeyed a 500+ miles over the course of 8 days and had carried equipment up in the Himalayan mountains to do star gazing. 

It's quite a humbling experience to see the milky way, and realise you are like a speck of dust in the vast cosmos. Since then I used to make yearly trips, and now I wanted to take this opportunity to share my experience with other people.

Hey @Akaash4 , oh Wow you have great things on your platter. Your guests must be elated to get all these with their stays. Do hold on - bookings happen, brings in good reviews and more bookings happen. Don't worry on the conversion ratio - guests have all the time to browse up and pick what suits them best. Stay put - your listing is unique and you are a special host with lots to give. Give the best of the hospitality you have experienced so far. List down what you could expect as a guest staying with a stranger (host), bring those into your hosting strategy and you would have happy stays, great turn around as positive reviews pour in. In case of reviews that mention suggestions/ improvements required, take them up sincerely and attend to them to the best of your ability. Reach out to your guests and assure that you are working on those. Positivity builds in and definitely attracts bookings.

How I wish I could have a stay and do star gazing or try calligraphy!!.
