Regardless of your political position you should be worried this is going to hurt Airbnb and their hosts. I won't use it anymore as a customer and I am part of a large majority, especially outside of the US. I am also adding VRBO to my listing with the intention of moving potentially entirely. Because people do not want to support DOGE. The rest of the world at large, dislikes Trump and DOGE, which will affect our booking rates. Look what happened to Tesla. That is political views aside as an Airbnb host.
And no, very few people are reacting with violence so do not pin the actions of a few people on the majority of those who oppose your political views.
I also am concerned that I am supporting someone who is part of DOGE.
I think that that organization is unconstitutional and reckless in the way they are proceeding. I think that there is a movement toward zero accountability which is scary.
I do not want to contribute to the pockets of someone who is part of that.
