July 4th Bookings

We received a request last night for a guest with 5 star ratings to book our home for two nights over July 4th. The booking request was flagged by what seems to be an Airbnb algorithm thinking this request would result in a party. I’ve reached out to Airbnb who told me the guest has to reach out to them… she reached out to them and apparently they told her there’s nothing they can do. 

Has anyone else experienced this and been able to get a resolution with Airbnb?

I believe Airbnb blocks short stays in whole listings  over major holidays because of the risk of parties .

does this guest have previous reviews ?

Airbnb algorithms ... Not much you can do. 

I would have them book on another platform.
