My personal GUEST rating

I can't find this anywhere. . .  I'd like to know MY rating (as a guest).  Can anyone show me?  Like what we see from our guests when the inquire/have confirmed bookings. . .

I've never known what hosts rate ME as a guest.

Sorry if this has been asked before!

@Richard531  Abb has always purposely made the guest barrier very very low. And we wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings with standards, expectations or judgment

@Kelly149 yes, only feelings of hardowrking capitalistics pigs hosts who provide EVERYTHING are allowed to be hurt.

WAKE up!

No, I don't think that's true anymore RE IB. That used to be the case, but it changed at some point. I have IB turned off and can see the star rating for all guests, past, present, future, as well as any who have sent booking requests or enquiries.

Perhaps guests cannot see their star ratings because then hosts might not feel confident to leave low ratings even when they are deserved. Or, much more likely, Airbnb thinks it would be off putting to guests and scare some of them away. That is probably why the idea of a Superguest programme has never been implemented.

@Kelly149 Very interesting!  I think I'm following and it makes total sense given where things are at right now (Airbnb always on the quest to increase use/adoption by travelers).  The good news: the open publishing/display of guest rankings can easily change/be updated in the months/years ahead.

The data is there, now it's a matter of deciding when/how to show it.

And to go back to the Uber/Lyft example, I've been using those apps for well over a decade.  And I honestly don't remember seeing my "score" before recently.  And when I saw that I was a 4.8, I'm thinking, "how the heck did I screw that up?"  Then I remembered some shenanigans from a prior life and I'm thinking, "maybe it was that wild ride in Miami back in 2013. . .  Hummm. . ."

Either way, I'm on my best behavior now!

I guess I'm trying to say that it can only get better from here.  But I'm always the optimist!
