Hello, We are new to the community and absolutely Love it! We keep asking ourselves why we have not done this sooner! Airbnb makes this so simple. The amount of help you can get is awesome. We have always had long term rentals. We will be  moving them to Airbnb!

@Kimberly789 Welcome to the community! I recommend new hosts spend time browsing this forum, reading the help pages on Airbnb, and be very familiar with all the policies and terms. 

You mention long term rentals. Be aware that there are many pitfalls with long term bookings on Airbnb. Do your research on that if that’s the route you’re going. Hosting on this platform is not as easy as Airbnb makes it look. Best of luck!

@Kimberly789  Are you aware that Airbnb provides none of the safeguards that landlords normally use to protect themselves?

They hype long term bookings, but as Colleen advised, do your research. It isn't "so simple", nor easy.
