We are staying in New Orleans and the Airbnb is NOT Clean. The walls are scummy and the bathroom. I am very concerned because of COVID. Also the heat in the unit we rented is all but non existent. We are freezing. What are my options to cancel the rest of my booking and stay at another place?
Have you spoken to the host? Airbnb protocol is to first notify the host of any issues to give them a opportunity to correct it. Perhaps the host can send someone over to clean and get the heat turned up.
If he is unable or unwilling to do that, contact Airbnb to tell them you find the place unacceptable and that you want to cancel the rest of the stay. Maybe they can locate a better place in the area for you.
