Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Elisa @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

Happy Saturday from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! My name is Victoria and I moved to this beach community in South Carolina 3 years ago from Phoenix, Arizona (the desert). I purchased a gorgeous custom built 5 bed/4 bath double lot home from a cousin and retired in 2023. Since our Myrtle Beach area was ranked #1 vacation spot for families in the USA in 2023, I made the decision to use the property for airbnb use. I love rescue dogs, interior design, dancing and helping people enjoy their stay. Thank you all for reaching out! Happy 4th of July to the USA.

Hello everyone, I'm Dinorah from Texas USA.  I'm originally from Mexico and came to the US about 23 years ago. My husband and I built a tiny home on 3/4 acres of our 2-acre lot.  It is located out in a rural area where the stars and nature are amazing.  We have had a few guests already that have loved their stay and are looking forward to learning all we can from the community.  Thank you all for your help and suggestions.

Hi All, I'm Richard from the Northern Rivers area of NSW, Australia. I'm an IT Consultant by trade and I've been with AirBnb for 8 years as a guest, travelling around Australia and Europe using AIrBnb properties almost exclusively.

But this is my first foray into hosting, having previously rented out a property for 6 years or so through a property agency. I think we can offer a better experience by being more hands-on. I'm still a newbie so any tips are most welcome. Our new listing goes live as I write this!

Unfortunately it means we lose all the previous, wonderful reviews acquired over the past 6 years.
