Hello everyone! ๐
Welcome to the Community Center! ๐ I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca and @Elisa and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling๐ฒ, playing footballโฝ, and travelling๐ . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : ๐ I was born in Gujarat, India ๐ฎ๐ณ , and shifted to Toronto, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ last year! ๐ท I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. ๐ When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia ๐จ๐ด and currently living in British Columbia, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance ๐) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries ๐ and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking ๐ฒ and hiking ๐.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist ๐ฟ and like to minimise my impact on the planet ๐ as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming ๐ yoga on the beach ๐งโ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! ๐
@Elisa : I was born in Italy ๐ฎ๐น and as a lover of unique experiencesโfrom exploring the streets of Rome๐ฎ๐น , Paris ๐ซ๐ท, and Toronto ๐จ๐ฆ to appreciating timeless art and cuisineโI'm here to blend the old with the new.
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards,
Bhumika

Hi - I'm Fred from Tanzania (living in Dar es Salaam, but hosting in Moshi)
Moshi hosts the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world ... the famous Mount Kilimanjaro. I love travel, but my passion is to use this platform to promote the mountain and the history of the town of Moshi.
Hi @BlueCactus0 ๐
Moshi sounds so fantastic and a great place for people to come and stay who are looking to climb the mountains! ๐
I'm intrigued to hear more about the history of Moshi; perhaps you could share a post here with some photos and some more about the history!
Feel free to start a conversation and share your hosting journey! ๐

Hi @Miljan28 ๐
Congratulations and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us. You've come to the right place for support!
Just a little reminder that we don't allow advertising on the Community Center as per our Community Center Guidelines but for all things Hosting, this is the place to be! ๐
some people are using other language why??
Hi @Joan3534 ๐
We're the official Airbnb global community so we have a really diverse group of people gathered together to offer advice and support to each other.
We do have other Community Centers for Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian and German hosts who prefer to speak in these languages, but everyone is welcome to post on the Community Center. As the Community Managers, we do offer translations in English when we come across posts in other languages to make supporting each other easier.
I hope this helps. ๐
Thank you team Bhumika and the AIRBNB Admin/Community
I do appreciated your welcoming me. I have put off getting in touch sooner and it's such a
an honour to join communities like this where we can share information and assist others.
Born in the UK I have travelled a little but not enough holidays...had a family and happily share in the joys of family that love me.
I have looked after tenants for over 15 years...but now I am hoping to start the AIRBNB journey as a Co-host having spent months gathering data about how I can link my experience with a role.
Always a learner, and have more time now to actually do something and focus on what I need to do. I like to be very thorough in my approach to work whilst also trying to make the process enjoyable.
Hoping I can be a useful member to this community.
Warm regards

Hi @Charmaine-Alicia0 ๐
A huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us finally ๐. How has your transition from managing tenants to hosting been so far?
Hi everyone I am Pippa. I am in the UK (London) and I have been hosting and cohosting on Airbnb since 2017. I took a short break during Covid and have started cohosting again.
I would like to connect with other hosts to share ideas and feel part of the Airbnb community .
Look forward to connecting ๐
