Hello everyone! 😊
Welcome to the Community Center! 👋 I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Elisa @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : 🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘 and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌
@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.
@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards,
Bhumika
Hi @Miljan28 👋
Congratulations and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us. You've come to the right place for support!
Just a little reminder that we don't allow advertising on the Community Center as per our Community Center Guidelines but for all things Hosting, this is the place to be! 😊
some people are using other language why??
Hi @Joan3534 👋
We're the official Airbnb global community so we have a really diverse group of people gathered together to offer advice and support to each other.
We do have other Community Centers for Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian and German hosts who prefer to speak in these languages, but everyone is welcome to post on the Community Center. As the Community Managers, we do offer translations in English when we come across posts in other languages to make supporting each other easier.
I hope this helps. 😊
Thank you team Bhumika and the AIRBNB Admin/Community
I do appreciated your welcoming me. I have put off getting in touch sooner and it's such a
an honour to join communities like this where we can share information and assist others.
Born in the UK I have travelled a little but not enough holidays...had a family and happily share in the joys of family that love me.
I have looked after tenants for over 15 years...but now I am hoping to start the AIRBNB journey as a Co-host having spent months gathering data about how I can link my experience with a role.
Always a learner, and have more time now to actually do something and focus on what I need to do. I like to be very thorough in my approach to work whilst also trying to make the process enjoyable.
Hoping I can be a useful member to this community.
Warm regards

Hi @Charmaine-Alicia0 👋
A huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us finally 😉. How has your transition from managing tenants to hosting been so far?
Hi everyone I am Pippa. I am in the UK (London) and I have been hosting and cohosting on Airbnb since 2017. I took a short break during Covid and have started cohosting again.
I would like to connect with other hosts to share ideas and feel part of the Airbnb community .
Look forward to connecting 😀
Hi @Phillippa--Pippa-0 👋

Hello!
I'm Diana from Massachusetts, USA and I'm just starting my property management journey. I'm fortunate to have a highly successful, well regarded super host as my mentor. I'm currently co-hosting properties in Providence, RI and learning from the best! I'm very excited to begin this venture and am grateful for the opportunity.

Warm and kind greetings from Uganda "The pearl of Africa" and me Myself Kevin Muhes "Pearl_guide"
I am a student at Nkumba University pursuing a bachelors degree in Tour operations and management. I love travelling , Camping, Wild game drives, and telling local stories ,
Here to host a couple of Accommodations around Uganda, Strategically located on water one one lake Buyonyi in south western Uganda actually the world's 3rd deepest lake , the other one on Lake Victoria which the source of the Nile River world's longest river
Hi @Kevin3499 👋
A lot is at your door step when you travel to Uganda,
In South Western Uganda 🇺🇬, On Lake Bunyonyi "Bunyonyi is local word meaning very many little birds" so the lake is known for many birds species, to birders this is heaven or paradise,
The lake also has 29 islands amongst them is the punishment island located in the heart of the lake where ladies that got pregnant before marriage were put and left to starve and die as a punishment
The lake also neighbours the humans best cousins 🦍🦧 of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga National Park, seeing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat will make all your stay memorable and epic experiences
Not forgetting on one the hills of the lake where the world's shortest people live, these were the first inhibitors of the forest where the 🦍 live , and they were displaced , these people are called the pygmies "Batwa"
This is super interesting @Kevin3499 😍
Thank you so much for sharing! Do you include these tours/guides for your guests?
