Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling๐ฒ, playing footballโฝ, and travelling๐ . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : ๐ I was born in Gujarat, India ๐ฎ๐ณ , and shifted to Toronto, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ last year! ๐ท I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. ๐ When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia ๐จ๐ด and currently living in British Columbia, Canada ๐จ๐ฆ. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance ๐) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries ๐ and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking ๐ฒ and hiking ๐.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist ๐ฟ and like to minimise my impact on the planet ๐ as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming ๐ yoga on the beach ๐งโ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! ๐
@Elisa : I was born in Italy ๐ฎ๐น and as a lover of unique experiencesโfrom exploring the streets of Rome๐ฎ๐น , Paris ๐ซ๐ท, and Toronto ๐จ๐ฆ to appreciating timeless art and cuisineโI'm here to blend the old with the new.
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards,
Bhumika
I just took a look at your property, and it's absolutely unique! The art studio is such a cool feature. Do you create tapestries there?

Hello Everyone, I live and host in Vermont, USA with an off-grid cabin in Northern Vermont and a garden apartment in Southern Vermont. I design and build landscapes and promote permaculture, true sustainability, homesteading, and edible gardening as well as being a photographer. I live in a region that has good food and drink, skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking, all activities that I love.
Hi @Amy3326! Welcome to the Community ๐
Both your listings look absolutly beautiful ๐ Vermont must provide a beautiful backdrop for your photography, it really shows from your listing photos!
There are many hosts in the Community Center who are passionate about sustainability, and weโd love for you to share more about your permaculture and homesteading practices.

Hello everyone! I'm Metin Dinler, born and raised in Sweden. Now living in Cappadocia, Tรผrkiye from where my roots are from. Been hosting some humble boutique cave hotel listing for a year now and I love it! Airbnb guests are always smiling and open for conversations, it is great to meet new people ๐ If anyone has plans for Cappadocia, feel free to hit me up!
Hi @Metin44. Welcome to the Community Center!
Cappadocia is such a magical place, especially with those iconic hot air balloons floating over the landscape. Do your guests often get the chance to experience a hot air balloon ride?
Hi @Quincy! Hot Air balloons are for sure the highlight of Cappadocia! Our guests do not see the balloons directly from the listing as we are located 10 minutes away from the start point and valleys block the view unfortunately! Although, we help our guests with bookings of balloons ๐
Cappadocia has lots to offer besides Hot Air Balloons! Beautiful valleys to hike in, Underground cities and Open Air Museums! Everyone should definitely add Cappadocia to their bucket list ๐
Iโd love to hear more about what makes your corner of the world special and see some more photos. I'm also curious about the history of the cave homes and what inspired you to begin hosting.
You can start a new conversation by clicking here or using the "Post" button in the upper right corner (if youโre on a computer). I'm sure many people would be interested in reading your hosting story ๐
The room with private pool is cool right!? ๐
I will try to post something about Cappadocia if I find the right words and time!
Hi there, my name is Michael Hall and i am from the tiny island of Antigua in the Caribbean. I decided to sign up with you because a friend of mine who is listed on your site recommended that i do the same as he was quite happy with the inquiries he receives. I own a 3 bedroom cottage and a condo in Jolly Harbour, Antigua which are within a gated community which has 2 beautiful beaches and all amenities necessary for a memorable vacation.
Hi @Michael9349. Welcome to the Community!
Your properties in Jolly Harbour sound amazing, especially with the beaches so close by.
What do you recommend guests do when visiting Antigua to make their stay unforgettable?
There are so many things to visit in Antigua as we have Nelson's Dockyard, a World Heritage Site. Also you can take a ferry to Barbuda our sister island to visit one of the only 2 Frigate Bird Sanctuaries in the World, or you can go to Stingray City and swim with these amazing rays. For entertainment you can visit Shirley's Heights on a Sunday afternoon for steel pan party while taking in the world famous scenery of the historic National Park.
Hello, I am Daniel and I just listed my room. I am a Canadian but moved to Prague about 8 years ago. I love traveling, meeting new people, trying new foods, and exploring new cultures. I enjoy playing sports, listening to music, hiking, and spending time in nice cafes. Prague is a great city and I welcome all who would like to come and explore it.
Hi @Daniel13733 - welcome to the community! ๐
Congratulations on your new listing, it's the beginning of such an exciting journey. It might be interesting for you to share your listing with us on 'Ask about your listing', where you can ask other Hosts to critique your listing and give you some tips about how to improve it and help you be as successful as can be? It's often a useful exercise. ๐
We look forward to seeing you around!
