Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca  and @Elisa  and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.

Hello from Florida, USA,  my name is Loida, I was born in the northeast USA but have lived in the southeast most of my life.  I've been a real estate agent selling residential real estate for over 30 years and am retiring soon.  I love to travel and meet people from different cultures.  I appreciate nature and this beautiful planet that we've been given so I love spending time outdoors.  I'm fascinated by the beautiful architecture around the world especially because Florida is still so new compared to Europe and other countries.  My Airbnb is in a "historic" small town named Mount Dora in Central Florida.  By historic, I mean the late 1880's.  It's very cute and quaint with many small shops and restaurants.  There's also a lake that connects to a chain of lakes where you can bring a small boat and meet other boaters.  There's a lovely hometown golf course as well.  It's simply a cute little town which is very different from the rest of central Florida which is full of chain restaurants and tourist attractions. We are 45 minutes north of Disney World.

Hello everyone. I'm Romildo. I was born and live in Brazil, a large and developed country. I live in the city of São Paulo (the largest in South America). I live across from beach of Santos SP. I am a person with many skills: I am a lawyer, an aeronautical expert, a quality auditor, and a novelist. I love taking walks along the beach at dusk.
I try to provide my guests with an experience of comfort, excitement, and tranquility, with as much privacy as possible.

Brazil has always been on my bucket list; it is such a vast country with so much diversity. What would be the top 3 places to visit for a first-timer in Brazil? They can be cities or any other type of destination.

Hello. Brazil is a very big country, it is not possible to see everything in one or two trips. Some interesting places to visit are: The city of São Paulo, its gastronomy, fairs, theaters and the Japanese neighborhood of Liberdade. Also the beautiful beaches on the coast of São Paulo. In the state of Paraná we have the "Iguaçu Falls", a huge waterfall, I think it is the largest in the world. In the State of Maranhão we have the "Lençóis Maranhenses", a white sand desert full of crystal clear pools. These two tourist spots are wonderful. I don't recommend Rio de Janeiro because it is very dangerous, there is a lot of crime. Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, is beautiful and modern, with its beautiful gardens and Brazilian government buildings.

Soy Argentina, tengo un apartamento en Cba. Capital y estoy muy entusiasmada con sumarme a este gran viaje de ser Anfitriona y recibir huéspedes de diversos lugares del mundo aquí. Me encanta viajar y descubrir lugares, costumbres y culturas nuevas, desde la comida hasta la música. He tenido la oportunidad de viajar  por varios lugares y lo he disfrutado muchísimo, lo agradezco. 

Mi apartamento se encuentra en Córdoba Capital, una gran Ciudad Universitaria, muy cerca de Museos y del Parque Sarmiento, de la Universidad Nacional, UNC, con innumerables carreras y Facultades que acojen a Estudiantes de todo el País y también de Latinoamérica. A pocas calles a pié de Barrio Güemes, un Barrio lleno de Bares y restaurantes, tiendas de antigüedades y Diseño y gran Feria de Artesanías los fines de Semana. Será un placer recibirles si vienen algún día por aquí: Córdoba les encantará.

Hello everyone I grew up partially in Brooklyn NJ and Plainfield NJ! I love history and reading! As far as my Airbnb place.  I lived in this house almost all my life! So I love the thought that others can enjoy this home just like I did for many years!
