Hi guys,

I'm brand new to the Fam!

Listed my property about 24 hours ago. It says the listing is active, but it's still not showing up in search results.

How long does it take and do they send you an email when it's published? 
My other question is, I'll be away for 5 days in August. So I won't be able to check guests in then. I know I can block out these dates but I'd be happy to check someone in before I leave and for them to stay in the property while I'm away. How can I create this specific rule in my calendar, I can't work it out...

You need to wait for upto 24 hours until this link gives a result:

You can create a custom trip lenght (Section trip lenght) for "specific dates" (duration menu) and also choose a check-in day. Please note it does not act as a wall, so somebody can book starting before those dates into those days.

More flexible is creating a ruleset, which can have more then 1 check-in day and also can limit check-out days.
