Ongoing booking cancellation

Hi guys,

 

Anyone here who experienced mutual cancellation of an ongoing booking?  My current guest has an unexpected change of travel plan and now wanting to pre-terminate the booking by 2 weeks.  Care to share the process you went through?  TIA.

I always shorten the reservation ("change" option), amend the price (in the change form) to what is a fair deal and move on.

The guest should initiate the change request:  https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1363/changing-your-reservation-during-a-trip

 

Then you respond to the request: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1504/responding-to-a-guests-trip-change-request
