@Jan8555 If you are receiving bookings you don't have to approve first, it means you have Instant Book turned on. You need to turn it off in your settings so you only receive requests.
I suggest you read all the articles provided for hosts in the Help section on the main Airbnb site.
You also need to understand the difference between Requests and Inquiries, which are different and handled differently. The "pre-approval" is only a choice for Inquiries, the choices for Requests are Accept or Decline.
Using the platform is a big learning curve and it's best to get as much info as possible before putting up a listing, so you don't get caught out unaware.
