@Barry318   This sounds incredibly frustrating, I'm sure a lot of people who have dealt with customer service lately can relate. But unfortunately you're in the wrong place - this is a forum of peers, not Airbnb's customer service. Nobody here can open your ticket, and personal contact details aren't allowed. Hope you get an answer soon. In the meantime - have you contacted your credit card company?

Thanks. Yes. I have contacted my CC company and they won't dispute the charge unless I say it's fraud which will result in them cancelling my CC and starting many hours for me to re-set up all those vendors...  I juts need someone at airbnb to tell me what this charge was so i can see if it's legit. Do you know any email addresses at the company?

@Barry318  You say you haven’t traveled and don’t know what this charge is for. If you haven’t stayed in any Airbnb’s recently that the charge would be associated with, would you not be concerned this IS fraud? It it were me, I’d want my CC canceled before whoever used it to pay for their Airbnb also goes on a spending spree.

You will be very unlikely to get your answer from Airbnb in a timely manner. CS is thoroughly letting  everyone down these days. Hope you are the exception to the rule though! Good luck.

@Barry318

It seems a waste of time.....

The only thing i recognize is the reservation number** on the credit card statement.

Maybe use it to get through next time....

@Barry318  It sounds like your Airbnb account may have been hacked and if you haven't changed your password yet, you should do that right now. Can you think of any time when someone else may have had access to your credit card info?

I know it's a hassle to change your credit card info wherever you have it on file, but I'd certainly be asking my credit card company to cancel the card and stop payment.

Good idea.  Especially since I can't get anyone at Airbnb to respond.
