Property Management being required by Insurance Companies

I would like to ask if any hosts have run into insurance requiring you to

get a professional Property Management Company.   I am looking for

new insurance and the agent said most of the companies want this.

I feel that I care more about my property and can screen better for

guests than some stranger can.   Has anyone else run into this and

if you have did you find a company that does not require this.  I have

had some previous bad experiences with Property Managements and

the lack of protecting my property.   If you have any insight or helpful

information please let me know.  I do not want to do that!  I feel I can

definately do a better job than a company.   Thank you

@Sandi173 I have never heard of such a requirement. I have insured with both Foremost and Proper and neither of them had it.

Thank you for your reply.   I can't imagine other hosts all doing that either.   I had a agent

check with Proper.   They don't appear to require that but their premium is so high!  In florida you have to have wind and hail, also.  That part of their policy was 3 times higher than my policy last year and then the Short Term Rental on top!  The premium came to over $5000.   I can't imagine hosts being able to pay that kind of insurance.   You can't over charge people to come or they won't!!   I will check on Foremost!    Thank you so much for that idea.
