We have a lot of threads about things that have gone missing, but what sorts of strange, unique or puzzling things have shown up in your space?
For ours...
A book on 19th century post mortem photography (suitable for Halloween-- I would have kept it-- but they were writing a paper and wanted it back.)
A rake. Like the kind you use for leaves. In June. No one asked for that one. Its in our shed. Still wondering why someone BYORake to their romantic weekend.
One of those windshield shades that collapses down to a small size, fully open and lying under a bed. Threw it out.
Plastic fingernails. This is actually not that uncommon. Cleaners find them a lot.
A jug for water with "Mama has to pee" written on it. I left it in the cabinet after washing and it disappeared 3 guests later. It obviously made someone laugh as much as it did me.
A nice purple mum on our porch.
What surprising things have appeared in your space?
@Clara116 really? 😄 I had no idea... thank you!
3 of them are functional and 1 is not
This spoon and tweezers are to be used with it or it is random?
@Branka-and-Silvia0 How do you mean 1 is not functional?? those are very special cups and they have a lock type for neg/pos pressure, so you might think it is not functional when it actually is.
The tweezers is a mystery.....but the spoon could be used for another technique that is rough, and scraping the skin....but most of us have a special tool for that, NOT a spoon, its just a guess. so I'd throw out the tweezers and spoon and hold onto all the rest of it.
Wild that it was left behind!
@Clara116 yes, I googled 🙂 And tried on my shoulder bc it hurts ( bad neck ) but, even the smallest cup keeps falling off, the air comes inside, my shoulders are too thin 😄
I placed it like on your picture, first row, left and right.
First thing these are small cups u have for like knee....the shoulder uses larger cups...plus...its best if u don't practice on yourself especially if you have neck issues. The little yellow piece makes it special and it's not designed to be used on places like neck and shoulders and especially not without training. It looks simple but it is not.
The original use for very large cups were breast enhancement and perhaps milking but more so enhancement. Hope this helps with your magical find...lol
@Clara116 and @Branka-and-Silvia0 this is really fascinating! I had heard of "cupping" but what a strange item to leave behind (or pack in a suitcase for a trip to Croatia)! Thanks for the education!
People are fascinating creatures.
So, @Clara116 when do you plan to come to Zagreb? My shoulders really hurt and I can't sleep so hurry up 🙂 🙂
One of these. FWIW, I knew pretty much instantly it wasn't a curtain ring. Came as part of a 'fun bag' with other similar articles included. A Russian chap - seemed like such a quiet, unassuming character too.
@Gordon0 Oh my. I daresay many "adult" objects are left behind. My poor cleaner has a few stories. But that one looks unassuming enough. I might think it was a bracelet if I didn't know better.
