So my friend just paid lots of money to stay at this fancy Airbnb for his bday - in ground pool, hot tub, arcade, beautiful facility! He has a very high rating on this site and is very well kempt. When we got there, on the patio we saw what looked to be a crack pipe and ashtray. Leaves in the pool. He said he didn’t mind, just wanted to focus on his bday. After getting settled in we saw cobwebs, dirt in the bedroom (like someone had tracked in their feet), and when I went swimming, I cut my foot on a broken mason jar at the bottom of a pool. To top it all off he ended up getting pink eye!! When he tried telling the hosts they asked what he wanted, he said a future discount. The host said that isn’t an Airbnb policy (which is untrue) and they said the company sided with them. Their comment was also removed and they only have 5 star ratings. I’m blown away! I will not be using AIRBNB, only Vbro!
