Refund because of broken internet/Wifi

Hello,

 

our internet box was burnt down by lightning just before the arrival of the host and during its stay (one week) there will be no wifi at all. The villa is well covered by 4g but the host have exceeded their data package. What is the amount of the refund I can propose ?

@Stéphane369 I hear Airbnb will refund 50% in this situation. It is unclear if you are the guest or the host but this is a worth while benchmark

You might ask them what it would cost for them to buy sufficient data and offer to reimburse them for that if it seems reasonable.
