So I live in the UK and booked a trip in the UK, however Airbnb charged me in dollars. They then cancelled the booking due to unforeseen circumstances and I have had to find a different property which has clearly cost more because demand has gone up and the date is closer. That was bad enough, but then I find because AIrbnb are now charging in dollars I lose out because the exchange rate is different. How is that right? Surely if they cancel I should get back exactly what I paid and they sort the difference!

@Cathy853 All prices should be in £ sterling for a uk guest. Are you sure you haven't changed the currency on your account?
