Airbnb has asked, no requires hosts in Thailand to submit SHA certification.
let’s all be clear and I hope Airbnb is listening. SHA certificates are ONLY issued to registered hotels. Small hotels, homestay or a small Airbnb hosts listing is not approved, even when we / they are permitted by local authorities to do short term rentals and we are smaller than 6 or 8 rooms.
By highlighting only SHA listings you are going to damage your hosts. SHA is a hotels of Thailand closed shop!!!

remember hosts were people who opened their homes to guests.

Hosting for 12 years Superhost for most of that time and have grown each year.

Hi @Alastair0

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, I appreciate you being honest with how challenging it can make your activity. I found some information here on Hosting in Thailand, is that useful at all?

There is also a local Host Club nearby which might be handy to get more input from Hosts who might be facing a similar problem.

Thanks,

Emilie
