Safety concern

One thing I don’t like about Airbnb as a  host is that. They don’t run back ground check again after the initial one.
What if the guess that pass first time back ground check is now a serial killer after 6month or a 1 year and still continue to book Airbnb as a hide out place. The life of the host and their family is in danger unknown to them. Airbnb should be doing background at least after a year host will feel more secure and safe.

@Temmy-And-Akin0  What makes you think they do background checks at all?

If you.mean verified ID, that means nothing. All that means is that the guest has submitted ID.

If you think they run criminal record checks on new guests, you're wrong.

Is ridiculous...because it doesn’t cost much to operate a  back ground check search engine with all the money they making.

This beginning to looks more like buyers beware market ( Buyers are the Host) and this shouldn’t be.
