Scheduled Message / Approval Before Posting

Hi,

it’d be cool if AirB in “scheduled messages” can also integrate a “Approval” option, which asks the host if the scheduled message in fact should be sent, and where the host can edit this particular message … again based on saved messages.
This for example makes sense if the host sends a “thank you” message to checked-out guests, in case the guest has earned themselves a “thank you” (room left behind ok, keys returned, …)

Regards,

Frank

I like this idea @Frank166 and can think of many scenarios in which I'd need to do as you propose.  @Scott is this approval something that's under consideration?

Hi @Frank166 thanks for bringing this topic up.

First, from a control perspective, I wanted to make sure you saw that every scheduled message can be skipped or edited before it gets sent by going to the conversation and hitting the schedule messaging icon near the compose box.

Are you proposing an additional layer of control, where the message won't get sent until you explicitly approve it?

Hi Scott,

thanks for picking up on this.

Yes, it'*d be cool to have an option for each scheduled message, if it should be confirmed before sending to conversation.

So that some scheduled messages go directly, and others request host's confirmation.

Another thing is, it'd be cool to have place holders in "normal saved massages" not only "scheduled messages"  🙂

By "placeholders in normal saved messages" do you mean what we call "shortcodes" in what we now call "quick replies"?

We do have those! 🙂  Is the shortcode menu not showing up when you edit your quick replies?

yes shortcodes ... ahh now seeing it, thanks a lot :))
