Hello everyone 🌾
As we say goodbye to summer or winter in our locations, nature starts to put on an incredible show of colours and lights. Trees change colours, some plants bloom again, and sunsets and sunrises gift us with beautiful hues.
I thought it would be wonderful to use this thread to share photos of the beautiful colours that are currently enhancing your accommodations. Are you taking advantage of this season to capture some new photos to refresh your listing? 🌤
I’d love to hear about how your location is embracing the new season, whether it’s spring or fall. 🌻/🍂
Looking forward to seeing your comments and photos 🌿
Rebecca,
Yes, many of the trees are still quite green in our area but are starting to change. Usually by the last two weeks of October, we’ll see most of the trees color or drop their leaves.
Hello @Paula
We've had unusually mild and warm temperatures from mid-Winter (that was mid-August) in Sydney, often reaching 23-25 degrees Celsius. The photo displays nearby gardens blooming at the beginning of September.
Thank you for your idea to share photos.
Warm Regards,
Pascale
Hi @Pascale653,
Thank you for sharing those lovely blooms with us, they're gorgeous. 😊
How cold does it get for you in Winter? It's only the beginning of Autumn in England, and we're already down to 12-15 degrees Celsius most days!
Hi @Rebecca ,
Thank you!
In winter (specifically for Sydney), usually, the temperature hovers between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius at midday on average (not a scientific statistic) though nights and early mornings can go down to 3-5 degrees from around June to August/September. [It’s not that cold except… most houses/apartments aren’t geared for the cold weather nor energy efficient (thin walls, no double-glazed windows, humidity and …no central heating) – fortunately, the length of spring, summer and autumn make up for it.]
@Pascale653 Those are lovely mild temperatures for Winter! A lot of houses here in the UK are not geared up well for hot weather -the total opposite, which makes sense. 💡
Fall is my favorite season! Just a few pictures from my home to yours.
Hi @Rebecca2101,
Your love for autumn shines through, it looks like it's made it's way to every corner of your home -and it's wonderfully warm and cozy. 🎃 What is your favourite autumnal treat to have or recommend guests when they visit around this time of the year?
