So sorry, everyone.  I kept getting errors publishing my post, so assumed it wasn't getting published and kept trying. @Lizzie, can you delete the extras, please?

Did you get an error message when posting or anything you could let me know to see if I can replicate it and look into it happening again? Or do you think it might be an internet or refresh of the page sort of thing.

@Lizzie  It started with an error message than it didn’t recognize some HTML (I had bolded some sentences).  I removed the bolding, and it still wouldn’t save (or appeared not to).  Then, it complained about “Post flooding” in the last 3600 seconds (which probably means it thought there was an auto-spam problem since I had tried to post 7-8 times).  I finally logged out and logged back in and was then able to post without error.  Unfortunately, it actually *had* published all those other tries!

It could be that the first error message somehow got stuck in the message queue and just kept displaying, even though the messages were actually posting.

Thanks for asking about looking into this deeper.  My main concern is that I couldn’t figure out a way to delete the extras myself!  Is there a way to delete our own messages?

Thanks for this information @Pat271 it's helpful. Did you perhaps copy and past any of the text you were posting from elsewhere, I'm just wondering if it had formatting on that the platform was recognising as HTML? 

It's not possible to delete your post, but you can edit it within 45 mins, so you would still need to let us know as you did and we can remove them. You can also report the topic by clicking on 'Report Inappropriate Content'. It sounds quite severe, but this basically flags it automatically to us and we can look into it further.
